How To Accidentally Buy a Spinning Wheel

Step 1: Go browsing on Trademe (NZ's answer to etzy).

Step 2: Stumble into the 'Craft -> Spinning' section.

Step 3: See a lovely little up-right with a starting price of $50. (A similar one is over $500 new!)

Step 4: Think 'It'll go for over $100, but it can't hurt to put a bid in'.

Step 5: Bid $50, and resolve not to go any higher, because there's precious little room in our home. But if it goes for $50, it would be a shame not to own it.

Step 6: Forget about it.

Step 7: See that, 24 hours out from the close of the auction, you're still 'leading'.

Step 8: Gulp - where are we going to put it? Sorry - where am I going to put it? (Zcc is absolved of all involvement in this process.)

Step 9: Be unable to check the net for about 12 hours after the auction has run its course.

Step 10: Finally get online, and discover you've won!

Step 11: Ring up seller, and arrange to pick it up. Feel slightly apologetic, because the 'Buy Now' price was about $80.

Step 12: Pick up a beautiful little wheel, compact and light, and working really smoothly.

Step 13: Pick up Zcc from work, and confess to buying spinning wheel accidentally.
