I was born in New Zealand, and grew up in various Asian countries until returning to NZ for the last 2 years of high school. Since then I've got a bachelor's degree, returned to Thailand to teach, gone back to NZ to get married, gone back to university for my master's, been to China and hastily returned to the Land of the Long White Cloud. I'm currently working on my PhD, tutoring Old and Middle English in alternate semesters, and trying not to spend too much money on sewing things.
