Dec. 9th, 2006 09:35 amThe picnic is cancelled. Officially. I have sent all the emails, and this is the last place to be notified.
What a morning! At 6:30 it was definitely cancelled, due to HAIL! Then at 8, with the sunshine pouring in the window, there was a high probability it was on, until I got up and looked out the kitchen window. BLACK wall of clouds and rain moving in from the south. But the sun kept shining, and then the wall dissolved into white haze. But Metservice is still promising showers, some thundery. So I have pulled the plug, and now will watch as it refuses to rain for the rest of the day...
