I've finished writing my conference paper. It's about 1000 words longer than it's meant to be. It barely touches on any of the topics I tried to cover. Since I sent in the original abstract and it was accepted, I've had two or three great ideas about what it should have been on. But I emailed it to my supervisor tonight, and will spend the day tomorrow fretting about what she thinks. And making a powerpoint presentation to hide the problems in the paper.
So now I'm listening to Joshua Kadison. That pretty much amounts to Country and Western, the music of pain, right?
I'm looking forward to this weekend being over, so I can start thinking about all the stuff I should have written over the summer break, and then focus on tutoring instead.
Finished in 2009? I don't think so!
