This is ridiculous!

Okay, I know this is Auckland, and that Auckland doesn't get snow. But what do you call it when you look out the window of the 4th floor and see little white flakes drifting down and up and around in between the rain-drops? If the ground wasn't so 'warm', we would see snow drifts!
