Attack of the Pirate/Ninja/Zombie Thing

zcat_abroadThe Pirate-Ninja-Zombie Flatwarming-Birthday will be happening from 3pm to late this Saturday, and could be seen as practice for POTCII (There might be ninjas; you don't know).
Arrr/..../plop *head falls off and rolls away*
(What noise do zombies make?)
When?
3pm til late. (I know this is repeating myself)
Possiblity of some crash space, but not much.
Why?
'Cos we got a new flat, and it's our 62nd birthday tomorrow! (And I'm not half of that number!)
What do you bring?
Yourself, any poor sods who have not yet been sufficiently inculcated into that rare species of (in)sanity that is The Hoarde, board games, boarding parties, brains (fresh, please), shuriken and rare poisons, drinks labelled 'rum' (does not have to be true to label), etc. We won't be providing much in the way of alcohol, due to ignorance, so bring what you like.
We will have some snackage on hand, and when people get hungry, there is a Hell not far from us (do they do a zombie pizza?), and other take-away options - really healthy!

How do you get there?
1) Car pooling would be a good idea, as we only have spaces for about 6-8 cars at the top of the drive, and walking the drive, which is pretty rough, is a bit of a mission.
2)Directions:
a) drive to Titirangi; go through it to the roundabout which would take you to Piha; take Huia Rd (the one before Scenic Dr)
b) after many turns, at the bottom of the hill, turn left and then rightish into Laingholm Dr, not Landing Pl (which is left and then left).
c) continue up, then down, Laingholm Dr. You will pass through a 'built up area'. Keep driving around several tight bends.
d) after you pass Janet Place on the left, the road takes a big left turn. 129 is on the right, at the apex of the corner, after the light-pole.
e) There will be a pirate flag on the letter box. The driveway is long, steep, and comprises two strips of reddish concrete. If you do not cross a plank bridge within 5 meters of the road, you are going up the wrong drive, and should go back before you get stuck.
f) Where the driveway forks, our house is up the left-hand drive, but after one car has parked there, it will be full. Take the right drive, and we'll have signs from there to the house.
