It is finished.

Okay, it may not be actually finished, but I'm not working any more on my thesis until I hear back from the examiners. That's right - all the internet silence has been due to me being head down, tail up, finishing the beast. And it is as done as it's going to get at this point.

I know I have an arguement, I know there are lots of examples to back it up, and right now I don't care if I haven't expressed it exactly right. It does not help my attitude to this project knowing that the woman who torpedoed my first thesis is currently working on a book in what seems like, from the blurb, exactly the same area as my current thesis - so it is unlikely I'll get to publish this. Planning a few articles to hurt her a bit, so she will have to quote me, doesn't make me a bad person, does it?

Next thing is a summer scholarship, looking for pictures for a book my supervisor is working on. Sounds like a nice change.

Sorry, there's not much more to say at the moment. My mind is blank, and it is definately time for food. And sleep.
