Item the first:
The Chaucer Blogger's take on the cat macros. This made me laugh, save the pictures for icons, and want to show it to my students. Not sure how many of them will get it - but we've just been doing these tales!
Honestly, I don't know where kids get their education these days. I was going to take in a sample of Captain Carrot's writing, as an illustration of how not to punctuate, but didn't quite get round to being organised. When I mentioned in tutorial that I had planned to bring it, there were blank looks. Terry Prachett? Another blank, though one guy did admit he might once have read one of his books. How are people going to learn anything if they don't read Prachett?
